ABARIS Consulting is a facilitative management consulting firm that began operations in 1999. We work with leaders in Private Companies, Government and Not-for-Profit sectors to address organizational challenges by working collaboratively with you, your staff and key stakeholders to collect and analyze data, establish developmental plans that address the issue, effectively implement and then manage the results.

Code of Professional Conduct
ABARIS Consulting subscribes and abides by the Code of Professional Conduct of the Canadian Association of Management Consultants. This code ensures confidentiality in our dealings with you and outlines our responsibilities to you, the profession and public. In addition, we frequently sign non-disclosure / confidentiality agreements with our clients prior to undertaking an engagement.
We are dedicated to ensuring accountability to our clients. To accomplish this we have established an accountability system. Our accountability system ensures we provide detailed written proposals prior to undertaking any engagement, work with you to develop a mutually satisfactory engagement plan and establish our proprietary "Consulting Engagement Scorecard" so you can evaluate the impact of our consulting intervention. The Consulting Engagement Scorecard is established at the outset of the engagement and allows you to assess the following components of the consulting intervention:
- Consulting Process
Determines your level of satisfaction with the overall consulting process.
Addresses the specific skills and knowledge learned by you and your key stakeholders acquired through the consulting intervention.
Defines the key issues that need to be addressed and how they are addressed through the implementation of the consulting solution.
Outlines the specific organizational metrics that will change as a result of the implementation of the consulting solution.
This approach to assessing the consulting intervention enables you to:
- Clearly link the consulting intervention to specific organizational needs;
- Assess the performance of the consulting intervention;
- Provide the ability to clearly communicate the results achieved from the consulting intervention;
- Build organizational competencies through enhanced learning.
Ron Robinson, our President, has over 25 years of management experience. His thinking is disciplined and focus on client results is exceptional.
Ron is formally trained in strategic management, governance, research, organizational performance and facilitation and his practical experience spans many sectors and hundreds of engagements. His work has a focus on building support through all levels within the organization, which allows his clients to benefit from his solid ability to understand human interaction in accelerating and achieving tangible results.
Ron holds a B.Sc., MBA (strategic management), and Masters in Project Management. He is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC), Certified Professional Facilitator (CPF) and Certified Investment Manager (CIM).
Ron has published over 50 articles in a variety of industry trade publications, on-line knowledge websites, magazines and journals and delivered over 20 presentations at various conferences and meetings throughout North America.
